Why you need a “clean money only” policy

I want to share a policy I have for building my company that simply and effortlessly helps us close copious sales, eliminate headaches long before they happen, and make the process of growing C.I.A. (cash, influence, and autonomy) downright pleasurable.

The policy is called Clean Money Only.

Clean Money Only Policy

Clean Money is money that:

  • Comes from absolutely ideal clients, no exceptions
  • Outflows to team members who are absolutely ideal, no exceptions
  • Is highly profitable
  • Is drama and red flag free
  • Is a joy to fulfill
  • Doesn’t require me to be ANYTHING other than who I truly am to deliver it
  • Doesn’t require me to take on unnecessary expenses to deliver it
  • Protects our team so they too can do their best work headache-free

When you live by “the sword” of Clean Money Only, you eliminate a TON of problems before they start:

  • Burnout
  • Low profits
  • Pain in the butt clients who are better served by your competitors
  • The stress of trying to be something you are not
  • The fatigue of trying to figure out how to “approach” a contract or sale
  • Second-guessing yourself or walking on eggshells in your marketing, team meetings or delivery
  • Etc.

The reason I love our Clean Money Only policy is because it means the more money you make, the more energy you generate.

When you have a Clean Money Only policy, you design a world that allows YOU to earn, serve and flourish at the highest level…

Rather than twist yourself into a pretzel in order to fit into the rules, laws, and norms of others. Women have gamely attempted to fit into the norms of “regular” business for decades now and, given the rates of stress, burnout, overwhelm, and sustained corporate exodus, I’d say the “I’ll come to you” model is ineffective.

So why do so few people practice “Clean Money Only?”

Because it requires copious amounts of guts and fortitude. You will be zigging when the majority zags. You will be turning clients away. You will be setting boundaries that other people don’t understand. You will be tolerating ZERO bewl shyte, and women who have a zero-tolerance policy for bewl shyte aren’t usually celebrated and affirmed. (Refer to Disney’s treatment of Scarjo)

In short: a lot of people say they want to “do it their way”, but actually doing that is harder than it looks.

But creating a business that is perfectly designed to help you sustainably produce your best work is THE ONLY business I’m interested in building or helping others build.
