Dear Fierce One,
This past week, as I was scanning around for new business podcasts and I came across a very popular one.
The episode focused on productivity — a topic near and dear to my heart. I’m always curious about next level advice and tips about how to prioritize and get the most important things done….
…and the podcast’s top tip for women entrepreneurs to stay productive and in the zone was to….
…I’m dead serious guys…
“Do one small load of laundry everyday. Just one small load of laundry.”
Now. I totally get that the laundry issue is a clear and present danger for many people, including women entrepreneurs.
I get that *some* women do the majority of laundry in the house. And dang, those clothes won’t clean themselves. Hygiene is muy importante. (Personally, I embrace the “delay and attack” approach which, alas, is limited in its efficacy and expansive in its frustration).
But still. “Do one small load of laundry a day.: THIS IS THE LEVEL OF CONVERSATION!!! Not on my watch.
If you, or a great woman you know, is looking for elevated conversation about power and presence, practical strategies on growth and advancement, and to be surrounded by a room full of amazing women who will hold you to a higher standard (and who may or may not do one small load of laundry a day), we still have a few early bird tickets left for my upcoming conference in Toronto, November 2-4. Check it out, and if it’s a fit I’d love to have you.
My commitment to you is that I’ll be elevating the convo waaaaay above the laundry.
In the meantime, check out this week’s livestream where I dive into 5 reasons you might not be as productive as you could be.
