In 2020 Ali, founder of Kanda Yoga, was having her best year ever, generating over 6 figures in revenue. She was advancing her mission, serving more people and making more money, but she was constantly battling burnout, fatigue, and overwhelm.

Meanwhile, the 39-year-old yoga teacher turned business owner wanted to give her company more attention, to nurture its growth and to see it flourish. But she was stuck in a delivery trap, trading dollars for the many hours she spent teaching classes “in an industry that can seem like a hamster wheel.” She was left with no time to spend on new ideas or innovation.

“I couldn’t keep going at this pace, and I want to keep growing the school. I actually had no idea how to do that. I had none of those skill sets, to a certain degree. That’s when I looked at Power + Presence + Position and applied.”

Ali had been listening to the Power + Presence + Position podcast for years. When she first heard Eleanor speak, Ali “was so impressed by her, because of her organization, clarity, intelligence… I became a devotee.”

A Powerful ‘Category of One’ Message

In 2022, Ali decided to invest in the Power + Presence + Position (PPP) Business Accelerator. She wanted to stop trading dollars for hours, create best in class programming and build a business that could be bigger than herself.

At this stage in her business development, Ali was earning over six-figures but was deeply caught up in teaching classes and didn’t have time to “tinker” or “waste a whole bunch of time or get frustrated and quit”. Her burnout was causing overwhelm, and she “didn’t know how to grow.”

Ali wanted effective help that would target the pain points that were holding her company back from achieving its potential. That expertise needed to result in impactful improvements to her wellbeing and to her business.

In the Preeminent Positioning System – which is taught in the PPP program, established founders focus to scale. They niche down, craft a scalable business model, and develop a powerful message that positions their company in a true Category of One.

Only one concern hung over Ali – she was worried that, as a lone yogi, she would be an outsider in a room full of businesswomen. On joining PPP, Ali quickly found value in the difference, describing one “aha” moment when she saw her own mistakes reflected back at her by another participant from a totally different sector. Both experienced similar struggles to clarify their message, which helped Ali see what she was doing wrong, and correct it. “The workshopping was huge with helping me go through my own process.”

Gaining Niche Clarity to Scale

Over the course of the 8-week PPP business accelerator program, Ali worked with team Safi to address the roadblocks — her focus and her programming — that were getting in the way of her ability to scale Kanda Yoga.

The first thing Ali did to implement the Preeminent Positioning System in her business was to niche down further. Using the tools and resources taught in PPP, Ali deepend her focus on her most valuable customers. She refined her niche to work with long term, in-depth practitioners with a history of yoga practice.

Once she could better articulate her niche and craft a powerful message that would position her in a Category of One, Ali was ready to scale. Ali designed a robust, high-ticket group program called the Inner Sanctuary. The curriculum-based offer had a clear beginning, middle and end. It offered like-minded, experienced practitioners a holistic and transformational experience and allowed Ali fulfill her mission to truly educate rather than simply teach, or instruct.

“The scalable offer has been nothing short of life changing. To be able to create something that takes advantage of all my years of experience; that feels really inspiring and alive; but also feels grow-able and manageable and like something that will support me and my teaching career over many, many years.”

Niche Clarity Delivers Awesome Results

Since joining forces with Safi Media in Power + Presence + Position, Ali has dramatically reduced the time she spends teaching by HALF, from 24 times a week in 2020 to 12 times a week in 2022. Her social media following has almost doubled – one of her recent reels had over 15k views. The scalable offer that she created in PPP has generated over 20K since its launch in April.

Ali is fulfilling her mission to truly educate students, rather than simply instruct them.

“It’s like getting an MBA, especially for someone like me that has zero business education background. It’s a really high level actionable education.”

Not only did the structure of the process positively impact her business, it changed her mindset to think and deliver like a CEO. “I’m doing some of the best teaching I’ve ever done because I’m more clear. I have a really good gauge of how the mission, the vision and the clarity are impacting me, not just in sales, but in my ability to contribute to my students’ growth and learning.”

Ali went on to join The Jewel Business Accelerator, a year-long program where Safi Media partners with founders like her to bring their Jewel Business to life by creating a 7-figure ecosystem. Ali worked with the coaches to further develop and refine her business by releasing clients, not taking on new clients, cutting programming and classes to make more space for herself and her high-ticket offer.

“I feel like I’m at the very beginning of implementing all I’ve learned from Eleanor and team Safi. One unmeasurable benefit is clarity. I am (finally) starting to feel clear, calm and confident. Not scrambling, constantly overwhelmed, and teetering on the edge of burnout. I have a path. I have a plan. And I have a whole team to help me.”

“I definitely wouldn’t have been able to do what I have done without PPP and the The Jewel Business Accelerator. No way.
